We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager – Transmission and Distribution (T&D) to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of utility projects. This role requires a dynamic leader who excels in managing complex T&D projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while maintaining a focus on safety and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage all phases of T&D projects, including design, permitting, construction, and close-out, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to meet contractual and operational requirements.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, field crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders, to achieve project milestones.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns promptly.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project performance.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improving efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience managing Transmission and Distribution projects in the utility or infrastructure sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent (preferred). OSHA 30 or other relevant safety training is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of T&D infrastructure, including transmission lines, substations, and distribution systems.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on client relations.
